Direct from the heart of Sheffield, we are proud to offer a series of pop up classes running throughout the year, for all ability levels. With the guidance of our expert tutors, classes are designed to give students the opportunity to learn new skills or polish existing ones. Come and join us for a one off class and make a piece for yourself or even as a gift for someone special in your life. There will also be opportunities to learn specific skills such as stone setting, Bangle making and wax carving or for 'life partners' to be, why not come and make your own rings in a specially tailored and documented day to remember.
Silver Stacking Rings Workshop
Learn how to make 3 textured rings in 3 hours - beginners welcome
Make your own silver stacking rings at Sheffield Jewellery Works. Join us for a fun workshop and learn how to make and texture 3 rings in 3 hours. This class is ideal for beginners and those who would like to refresh their jewellery knowledge. Each student will be guided through the process of making 3 textured stacking rings using hand tools and jewellery making equipment. Under the guidance of your experienced tutor you will learn the following skills

The class will be a duration of up to 3 hours. Our experienced tutor will provide you with everything you need on the path to producing your desired pieces. Prior to the class we will send you a welcome letter and induction form via email. This will contain all the things you will need for the day.

Additional Services Offered - Gold Plating.
If you prefer a gold finish over silver and you wish to have your finished piece gold plated in 18ct Fairmined gold vermeil we can offer this at an extra cost of £20.00 per ring of which can be ordered on the day. Please allow 3 weeks for your gold plated items to be ready. When your rings are ready we will email you or we can post them to you for £4.50. Posted via Royal Mail 2nd class 'Signed For'. Gold vermeil is a high quality form of gold plating in which a thick layer of gold is deposited onto sterling silver. Vermeil is more durable than standard plating. Fairmined is an assurance label that certifies gold from empowered responsible artisanal and small-scale mining organizations who meet world leading standards for responsible practices.
Group bookings, wedding parties and bespoke workshops.
If you would like to book the entire workshop for a party of up to 10, please get in touch with your desired dates and group size and we can send you some options.
