Make your own silver stacking rings at Hove Jewellery Works. Join us for a fun workshop and learn how to make and texture 3 rings in 3 hours. This class is ideal for beginners and those who would like to refresh their jewellery knowledge. Each student will be guided through the process of making 3 textured stacking rings using hand tools and jewellery making equipment. Under the guidance of your experienced tutor you will learn the following skills - annealing (heating) forming (hammering, doming and shaping) soldering sizing texturing filing papering (finishing process) polishing All students will start the day with a piece of recycled eco silver wire and learn how to form, size and texture each band to create 3 individual slim rings (all the same size). Please note this is an adult only class. On the Day - The class will be a duration of up to 3 hours. Our experienced tutor will guide you through each process on the path to producing your desired piece. Prior to the class we will send you a welcome letter and induction form via email. This will contain all the things you will need for the day. We look forward to meeting you. Additional Services Offered - Gold Plating - If you prefer a gold finish over silver and you wish to have your finished piece gold plated in 18ct Fairmined gold vermeil we can offer this at an extra cost of £20.00 per ring of which can be ordered on the day. Please allow 3 weeks for your gold plated items to be ready. When your rings are ready we will email you or we can post them to you for £4.50. Posted via Royal Mail 2nd class 'Signed For'. Gold Vermeil - Gold vermeil is a high quality form of gold plating in which a thick layer of gold is deposited onto sterling silver. Vermeil is more durable than standard plating.
